Level 90 without a single kill

Some people fight bears, some people jump to earth from space and some people grind to level 90 without killing a single mob.

Ask most World of Warcraft players what they dislike most about the game and they will probably tell you it's "the grind." Like many MMO's, most players consider that the game only really starts at max level; unless you're a roleplayer, you probably just race to the cap as quickly as possible so you can "play for real." But one Tauren Druid decided that endlessly killing ten mobs or handing in 20 items wasn't for him. Irennic decided to skip that altogether and grind professions - predominantly archaeology - instead.

"The Pacifist Druid" first gained noteriety for going 1-85 in the previous expansion with the same strategy. Now he's back for Mists of Pandaria with a surprisingly quick 12-day 1-90. Okay, so 12 days isn't really that fast, and why you'd want to fly around doing archaeology for 12 days is beyond me, but he certainly did it. His record shows a bizarre 92 total damage (perhaps a misclick?), zero kills, and an unavoidable one quest that is auto-completed by reaching level 86.

As for why he made the most boring part of the game take even longer, he didn't say. My guess is simply "why not?"
