In this series from GosuGamers, we are going to introduce you to some of the best players that Overwatch has to offer. A lot of the current top players have competed at a high level in various other games and genres before joining the Overwatch scene. These player profiles aim to provide you with information on their previous competitive history (including team history) as well as a brief overview of the player's Overwatch preferences. Let's have a look at the team formerly known as #FlatEarth: Creation eSports.
Gaming History
When Overwatch first got announced, and the first footage was shown, Team Fortress 2 was perhaps the most talked about game when making comparisons. Of course there are plenty of differences, but the similarities can't be overlooked. It is not a strange thing therefore, that a big group of competitive TF2 players switched to Overwatch in favour of a (most likely) bigger competitive scene.
Seb "Numlocked" Barton is one of those people. Arguably one of the best TF2 players in the world, Numlocked still thought it worth the risk to start investing in Overwatch as soon as the first weeks of Closed Beta. He initially switched over with his Team Fortress 2 team that quickly joined up with G2 Esports, but due to underwhelming performances, the team changed their roster at an immense speed. Soon it was only him and his long-time teammate KnOxXx left. Upon the disband of what was G2 Esports, the duo joined up with what would become Creation Esports.

Numlocked is one of the most versatile and well rounded players in the competitive scene. While he is playing as a tank for Creation Esports, he also played as DPS, Flex and even as a Support for G2 Esports – all on an equally high level. His biggest strength however is his ability to shot call and lead a team with his massive shooter experience. While he maybe can't be considered the best mechanical player (only few can be), he makes up for it with his fantastic positioning and teamwork.
Being one of the few players that put in an incredible amount trying to understand both the game and team-play at the highest possible level, numlocked is truly an asset to every team. Therefore it is no surprise that Creation Esports' form rapidly improved from the first day of playing with him.
