With Dreamhack Summer fast approaching and qualifiers happening every weekend it’s a busy time for the HoTs competitive scene and here at Gosugamers our HoTs Global Rankings have moved quite a bit so let’s highlight some teams that have been making waves.
#3 mYinsanity
mYinsanity have taken the crown as #1 in Europe and #3 worldwide after pulling off undefeated run to claim the trophy at Dreamhack Tours. Having one of the most consistent rosters in EU they bring a new style to the scene with their deep hero pools and unconventional strategies. Currently holding a rating of 1,387 and a 6 win streak the team will need to keep up the strong play with rivals Team Dignitas and Fnatic close behind.
#4 Team Dignitas
Team Dignitas looked untouchable coming out of Leicester yet with an unexpected roster change in the removal of Wubby to make room for AlextheProg the team struggled at Dreamhack Tours and Bakery felt the need to explain the team’s performance. With the teams rating at 1,384 they have slipped behind mYinsanity but are still within reach providing a solid performance at Dreamhack Summer.
#6 Cloud9
Cloud9 still hold the title of #1 NA and #6 worldwide however Naventic are on their heels and without qualifying for the ESL NA Regional as of yet the team really need to pull up their socks and knuckle down at the Invitational Qualifier next week. On a rating of 1,356 and going 3-2 in their last 5 games Cloud9 are going to need to qualify before they can bring their coveted LAN-skills in Sweden if they wish to hold off Team Naventic.
#8 Team Naventic
Team Naventic are on the rise, sitting #2 NA and #8 Worldwide after an impressive showing at Dreamhack Austin beating Cloud9 in an epic 3-2 grand finale. Sitting at a strong 1,341 rating and winning 8 of their last 9 matches they are edging ever-closer to rival Cloud9, trailing by only 15 rating points. After showcasing their ability to switch roles Naventic have proven themselves worthy of caution going into Dreamhack Summer.
