Neo Star League Season 3 launched

Neo Star League 3 global finals kicked off yesterday featuring an armada of top-notch players from Korea and China. The event is scheduled to take place in China from February, 24th through April, 4th.

Eight contestants from each country qualified from the groupstage.
While 6 World Elite players made it to the finals, Wei 'Fly100%' Liang Lu failed to qualify thus being without contest the greatest absent Chinese in the event. The two other representatives are Lin 'Wulin' Wu and Chenglong 'Sai' Zhou.

In the Korean list, the WeMadeFOX quadruple as well as ex-SK team members Lee 'Check' HyeongJu and Jang 'WhO' DuSeop can be noticed. Kim 'ReMinD' SungSik and Eom 'FoCuS' HyoSub complete the list.

The 16 competitors have been split up in 4 balanced groups. Yet, the second one seems to hold a tougher rivalry since reigning champion Xiaofeng 'Sky' Li has been drawn with the FOX duo June 'Park' Lyn and Yoon 'SocceR' DeokMan.

In each group, a small tournament bracket using Bo3 format will determine two players to advance. In the Ro8, a double elimination tournament will be used.

The first matches for Group A have been played; 'ReMinD' pulled off a precious victory versus 'TED', lone Undead of the competition, and 'WhO' defeated 'Wulin' by the same score of 2-0.
