The VCT off-season is in full effect as T1 make three roster changes for the upcoming season.
T1 have already made significant changes to its roster with the VCT off-season in full effect now by signing three new players whilst also releasing three of its former members. The famed South Korean esports organisation bids farewell to the likes of Sang-beom "Munchkin" Byeon, Joseph "ban" Seungmin Oh, and Kang "iNTRO" Seung-gyun.
And in their stead, T1 have brought on former Gen.G Esports Sentinel player, Seung-won "K1Ng" Lee. The other two new recruits include Ham "iZu" Woo-joo, who last played with the Japanese team, Jadeite. Last but not least, T1 has also brought in Kevin "xccurate" Susanto, who last competed in the VCT Indonesia Challenger circuit.

He also happens to be the older brother of Jason "f0rsakeN" Susanto, who many know from Paper Rex. And with T1 also competing in the VCT Pacific League, fans will now get to see both brothers finally lock horns.
This three-man recruit from T1 shows how serious the org is taking VALORANT, given the stature it already has in Riot Games with its icnonic League of Legends squad. T1 had an indifferent start to the season, bowing out in the first round of the VCT LOCK//IN in Brazil early in the year. The team did bounce back with a third-place finish in the Pacific League, coming second to DRX.

But it was their performance on the international stage that didn't live up to the lofty expectations with two group stage exits at both Masters Tokyo as well as VCT Champions. With this new lineup, T1 should be looking for another top-three finish in the Pacific League next season. And as there will now be two Masters events in VCT 2024, T1 should also be looking to qualify for both international events.
