He will be helping the team to qualify for the next phase of VCT 2022.
G2 Esports announced that they will be reinstating Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas to their active VALORANT roster, replacing Wassim "keloqz" Cista on the team. This is a reverse after the former was replaced by the latter after G2 were eliminated from the first closed qualifier for Stage 1 Challengers in joint last place last month.
His return was made with a simple “I’m Back” post on Twitter by the team. The team will remain largely unchanged with this move, as the team heads into their next match in Challenger 1 against BBL Esports this 27 February.

The day [I was benched], he called me on the phone and he was concerned for me since day one. G2 Esports currently is in 4th place in the Group B standings, with a 1 win/1 loss record. They need to grab another point or two for them to qualify for the playoffs and hopefully find themselves on a plane ride to Iceland.
