The Pizza Pie got its start in 2016 as the Pizza Pie Bi-Weekly. Instead of a cash prize the winner of the tournament would receive a pizza. In 2019 The Pizza Pie partnered with Matcherino and the OSC in order to be able to offer a cash prize and OSC points along with the pizza.
