NonY bids farewell to eSTRO and Korea

The journey that began only a few months ago has now come to an end. Departing from Korea and the eSTRO team, NonY returns home to the United States for personal reasons.

While his stay at the eSTRO progaming house was shorter than many probably expected, NonY is quite happy with the time he spent there. In an interview with Artosis at scforall.com, he explains that even though the language barrier and the Korean way of practicing were both pretty tough to deal with, he never felt that it was too difficult and indeed managed to both discuss strategy and make friends amongst his teammates.

Citing personal reasons for his reason to go back home, NonY also mentions that he will cut back heavily on his practice time, although he intends to at least maintain his current skill level. He also intends to take part in future StarCraft events, so he is not leaving the eSports scene completely. When asked about his skill progression while practicing at eSTRO, NonY is quite positive.

- I feel like my skill didn’t improve by a huge amount, although it certainly did improve. What’s more important is that I learned how professionals train and that should help me a lot in the future.

We wish NonY the very best in his future endeavors. To read the full interview with NonY, head on over to scforall.com, linked below.
