The battle for Germany commenced yesterday in the WarCraft III Champions League's first playday. Although mTw lined up with a very strong international lineup, they found themselves drawing the shorter straw against their adversaries.
In the second match of the new WC3L season, the diverse squad of mTw faced off with Alternate aTTax, who opted for an all German lineup yesterday afternoon. mTw, with their newly recruited stars Satiini and Rainbow in action, were of course the favourites to take this match although they lost to the former starComa squad in the qualifiers. But history repeated itself as, ironically, the only players able to score point for mTw were their German players while the international stars did not meet the expectations this time.

The first playday continues next week with matches everyday from Monday until Wednesday. In the first match, which took place last Thursday, we saw the reigning champions SK crush World Elite without losing a single point. The titleholders are definetly off tp a good start. A game to keep an extra eye on next week us undoubtly MouseSports against MeetYourMakers. The two teams have recruited strongly before this season, mouz adding the Human master ToD while MYM's grabbed both Shy and most recently Grubby.
