June "Lyn" Park adds his second offline title to his list of achievements. The 20-year-old Orc star has previously won the KeSPA Cup, snatching the title from Lucifer - just like today.

While Lyn may be considered an experienced player in the scene, he can not boast with a heavy list of titles compared to Moon, Lucifer or Grubby. He was made famous after grabbing win after win in the inCup, which was later called LynCup because of his dominance.

LynCup - not just a name

Back then he was in the Korean team Lof, but it did not take long until he was signed by A.S. Teamplay.IT, and was important pillar in the WC3L team. A while later, he decided to » retire from WarCraft 3, only to come back two months later, » winning another inCup tournament.

A while later he joined up with World Elite, where his reign of dominance continued. He became a top class Orc player, but still the offline titles failed to come Lyn's way. It was not until the » KeSPA Cup in 2007 came, where Lyn could finally come out on top. Defeating Lucifer in the Grand Final with 3-2, he was very pleased to finally win.
- I always got the second place, so I'm extremely happy to win the title. Though I only got the second in MWL and CEG, I was so desired for champion, he said back then.

Was still missing an international offline title

After that, Lyn has been a top contender in almost every tournament he participates in. He has been a dominant gladiator in the Korean qualifiers, ending up qualifying for both Electronic Sports World Cup and World Cyber Games. Though never grabbing the gold in an international tournament, Lyn must have had his mind set on winning in Extreme Masters Los Angeles.

June Park entered as the favorite. Despite being in the shadow of the bigger tournament International Electronic Sports Tournament (IEST), the player list had top notch Korean players such as Lucifer, Susiria, and FoCuS. The tournament also featured international stars such as the old-school player Shortround, most known for his silver medal in World Cyber Games 2005.

The Miou blunder did not matter much

Despite losing to Miou in the group stage, Lyn still ended out on top, taking down Susiria, Lucifer and FoCuS in the winner's bracket playoffs. Lucifer fought his way back from the Loser Bracket and faced Lyn once again in the grand final. Being up 1-0 in best-of-three series, Lyn only needed to score two games to win the match.

Next big international tournament for June Park will be » Make Games Colorful, where after winning Extreme Masters Los Angeles, he should be considered one of the bigger names on the player list.
