CocoA: 'fraer and Bruce cheated in ESL PGL'

One single game can definitely make a difference. According to CocoA, Fraer and Bruce cheated when they said a match ended 2-0 instead of 2-1. It ending 2-1 would have resulted in a tiebreaker. CocoA has confronted the administrators, but he says they haven't done anything.

Group D, the one with post-Soviet and American players. We » reported yesterday about the results from the group stage, which said that United States Skew and Ukraine Fraer advanced from Group D. However, according to United States CocoA the score for Fraer is wrong, and that Fraer together with Russia Bruce lied about their result.

Group D
#PlayerPointsDeCLMatchesScore
1United States Skew 15 4345-0-0 10:2
2Ukraine Fraer 9 3333-0-2 8:5
3United States CocoA 9 3003-0-2 7:5
4Russia Notforu 6 2662-0-3 6:6
5Russia Bruce 6 1672-0-3 4:7
6Spain Darakian 0 00-0-5 0:10
The match between Fraer and Bruce ended 2-0 in favour of Fraer, according to the ESL site. That result gave Fraer a position where he was to advance with one map score more than CocoA.

Although Bruce tells CocoA later after the match was played that he did actually lie about the result to help Fraer qualify. The result was actually 2-1 for Fraer, a result that would totally change the group results. Fraer would be down at 8-6 with 300 DeCL points - exactly the same amount as CocoA. That would force a tiebreaker between Fraer and CocoA on who would advance to the playoff.

Needed more proof

CocoA tells Bruce that he should go to the administrators and tell the truth, but CocoA says that Bruce started ignoring him both on MSN and at Battle.Net. He wanted to get to the bottom with this, so he explained it all to Italy DaL, an ESL administrator. He said he needed to get proof of this. CocoA then manages to talk to Bruce again to get the truth out, and makes a screenshot of it.

They then move it up to the head administrator of the ESL StarCraft section - Germany CRTMN. CocoA claims that CRTMN didn't give a shit about it, saying he need more proof about the issue.

ESL banned their own admin

DaL does what he can, and according to CocoA the head administrator was tired of complaints and that he simply wanted to finish the tournament as fast as possible. Whether this is correct or not, DaL gets banned and his forum post is deleted. Below is the full forum post explaining the issue:
Cocoa is out due to a probably case of cheating, several games was closed(with a walkover) faking the reality cuz the esl admin(CRTMN) believed to what the players wrote(bluffing) in the protest support tickets even if it wasn't true.

This happens when the situation is managed only by an admin called crtmn, a person that never had/played bw and that removes the only admin that could help him, me, only cuz i was taking care about every single match to avoid any case of cheating , and that's probably happened(he doesnt like some1 who slow down his work of reading/closing in-site ticket). I dont know who was so mad to put an admin that doesn't know a shit about this game and, like god, takes care of the situation confortably sitting in front of the esl site page.

Note that he knows since 2 weeks me/DivoL couldn't be logged on bnet to follow the event...and he didnt anything, he didn't want to be present in the field, neither nominate some1 for him(i think "esl trash organization" could be better expressed in "crtmn total indifference") .

The playoffs have now started, with Fraer advancing and CocoA standing outside of it with an MSN conversation with Bruce saying they really did cheat. The StarCraft ESL administration is now taking on heavy criticism around the community, not only about this issue.
