MiSeRy's not so MiSeRable experience.

Rasmus Filipsen, a.k.a 'MiSeRy' shared some thoughts about his joining in MYM and how his DotA career evolved this year. He also reveals a few strategical aspects to ponder, next to his opinion on the upcoming release of DotA 2 in 2011.

This year has been very action packed for Europe and to the whole of the DotA community as well. Online and offline events are getting better as years goes by. One of our star player from Denmark, Rasmus 'MiSeRy' Filipsen gladly answers questions that will tell his experiences and expectations for the upcoming years.

Hello Rasmus, thanks for taking your time to answer to a few questions. I do not think an introduction is necessary as the community knows you very well. So let's get straight to the point. You joined MYM more than one month ago after having played for quite some time with LOST. Are you satisfied so far?

-"MYM|MiSeRy: Yeah I'm totally satisfied with my 'new' team. I had a really nice time with the guys in Wuhan and I'm happy about the whole situation."

This year has been an excellent year for DotA, many online and offline events have been hosted. This year was actually marked by the comeback of the MYM Prime Defending tournament as well as the most prestigious offline event which is ESWC but we also discovered the Razer Global Challenge tournament and the World DotA Championship. Was this year the revelation for DotA?

-"MYM|MiSeRy: It has been a great year for DotA and thinking back on all the events and games I've played, I'm really proud of my achievments and generally satisfied with 2010. I believe this year's events is nothing compared to how many events and how big dota will be in the future and I'm of course looking forward to be playing for MYM next year."

With the release of DotA 2 in the immediate future, do you think this game will overcome DotA and HoN or will it take time for the players to make the switch?

-"MYM|MiSeRy: I think when DotA 2 comes out, everyone will start playing it and naturally it will take DotA's place. About hon, I'm pretty sure hon will die when DotA 2 comes out."
