Playworks who are a video game magazine had the chance to interview Brian Kindregan, the lead writer for Starcraft 2. As most of us have already found out, some very interesting things happen in the campaign. Some that have people ecstatic, upsetting and other moments that make you scratch your head wondering why.
Generally, in broad strokes, we have big ideas about where everything goes, but at the same time, we try to leave some things open and loose enough to leave space for better ideas as we go along. When you work on a big plan, you can have alot of epic ideas...
The story as a whole for Wings of Liberty was great, and they dive in other subjects including references to Zombie Movies in the game. Inspiration for various aspects of the game including character development and even the possibly of Brian Kindregan wanting to be the writer for the StarCraft movie (if that ever happens).
