The Thor is finally presented in the Terran section - bringing the thunder. The description explains the story behind it and how it was discovered by outside factions!
The Thor is a powerful juggernaut - pretty much the 'Ultimate Heavy-assault Mech' of the Terran armada as explained on the SC2 page. Armed with its Particle Accelerators, it seems like this unit will be one to be reckoned with - just on it's own. The thor also has a upgradable ability which is it's 250mm Bombardment Cannon, where the Thor sieges and blasts away at a targeted area on the map.
The most interesting thing about this unit, which seperates itself from all other units, is that it is created by the SCV. Normally all units are created, born, or warped in by a building of some sort. This bad boy is constructed right on the battlefield!
As explained in the previous Terran video however, the Thor is a slow moving unit and can be taken advantage of by faster units - which so far, is all of them. Even the mighty Thor can be dethroned by a few Terran Cobra units, which have yet to be introduced on the Terran section.
