GomTV's team league started its second round of group stage with a battle on the bottom of the table which resulted in SouL's fifth loss for the season.

The Proleague champions of SouL continue to be without a single victory on GSTL grounds as they scored a 2-4 loss to FXOpen, a team which hasn't been doing that well itself.
For their first round 2 match, SouL tried a different strategy. With the format now being a standard Proleague one (i.e. team line-ups are pre-set instead of dependent on players' win streaks as in round one), the ex-KeSPA team led in with their aces Hyvaa and Dear on the spearhead. The brought them only a partial success, however, and Dear's victory ended up being one of only two for SouL today, the second one belonging to YoungJoo. FXOpen prevailed in every other match-up, using both team veterans such as Gumiho, Leenock and Hurricane and youngsters like JKS.
This puts FXOpen - who finished round one 1-3 in series and at -5 map indicator - close to breaking even. Their next match is against group leaders Axiom-Acer on October 24th and Choya's team will have to do well to keep their chances for making playoffs alive.
