Leenock and Gumiho weren't the only powerhouses that couldn't retake their Code S position after the initial round of Code A matches. The relegation process which started on May 1st, put a bar in the wheels of many a renowned name, including IEM WC champion Yoda, multiple times MLG champion MarineKing, 2012 WCS Korea champion Creator and CJ Effort's Zerg ace Effort. All of those, along with the others who fell in the last few weeks now go down to the up/down portion of the tournament, the format for which is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, the players in the left column face ascension and join the current Code S top eight in Soulkey, sOs, Innovation, Symbol, Bomber, Losira, Parting and RorO.
