Stephano with 2-1 debut in Proleague

The French zerg began his Proleague experience with victories against hero[join] and Bbyong before losing to Hydra.

Both matches played today was most close and a total of fourteen games had to be played to determine the two winners. Stork opened with a victory for Samsung KHAN against STX Soul but after losing to Hyvaa he had to pass the ball to RorO and Shine, who took care of Hyvaa, Bogus and Trap to claim the series of KHAN 4-3.

Featured in the second match of the day was the joint-roster of EG-TL and, in particular, Stephano's first steps in the Proleague. Despite being in Korea for a few days now, the Frenchman was not used in the match against SK Telecom on Jnauary 8th and it was only today that he stepped in the PL booth.

Stephano was called out for the fourth set of the series with EG-TL behind 1-2 and with CJ's hero[join] on a two-win streak. Going for a three-base roach/ling helped Stephano deal with herO's mass stalkers to tie the series and his infestorless roach/ultra/hydra composition was the death of Bbyong as well. EG-TL were in the lead 3-2.

Hydra was sent out before Stephano could close the series for his team and the Korean zerg hit a critical roach timing before infestors could pop for EG-TL to even out the score once again. Hydra was equally unopposed in the final match against JYP, employing a roach/muta/ling playstyle to destroy the zealot/phoenix opening of his opponent.

In tomorrow's matches, ranking leaders KT Rolster go against Team 8 with Crazy against Cure as the opening match. This is followed by the battle for the second place between Woongjin Stars, currently within seven points of each other.
