Dignitas loses CS:GO team

Team Dignitas announced this week that they will be parting ways with their roster, composed of four Danes and a Norwegian. The announcement came shortly after the team successfully qualified for ELEAGUE Major via the Main Qualifier. The reason behind this decision is declared as the organisation's intention to build a team based in North America. On the players' side, they haven't made an announcement yet. 

Virtus.Pro renews player contracts

The Russian organization has announced via a Facebook post this week that they will continue providing a home for the Polish roster until the end of 2020. The post suggests the renewed contracts are "the largest in the history of eSports in terms of both duration and total contract value." Filip "NEO" Kubski and his team have been playing under Virtus.pro since January 2014 and won numerous tournaments during this time, including ESL Major Series: Katowice 2014.

Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and Faruk "pita" Pita form qwerty

The new team features former FaZe Clan player and NiP stand-in Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, former CLG coach Faruk "pita" Pita as well as John "wenton" Eriksson who was last seen playing for fnatic. The remaining two players are Fredrik "slap" Junbrant and Simon "atter" Atterstam.

New NRG lineup announced

The North American organization has announced this week that they have finalized the roster for their CS:GO team, starting with removal of all but two of the previous members: Peter “ptr” Gurney and Jacob “FugLy” Medina. The two Americans will be joined by three new faces to NRG, Damian “daps” Steele, Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte, and Omar “MarkE” Jimenez.

ex-Platinium signs with Vexed

Vexed Gaming has been without a CS:GO line-up since March of this year when the organisation decided to part ways with their Polish roster following a decision by the parent company to disassociate themselves from professional gaming. That decision seems to have been reversed however as Vexed has announced they have secured the services of a new team, the French line-up known as WE GOT GAME.
