North American Star League - Week Two

From 21 different teams spanning 14 different countries, there are 50 players trying to capture the first place spot which will net them $50,000 USD. Though it won't be an easy road, as each group has a clear favorite or two, looking closer you can see that there are a lot of potential upsets.

Every match will be re-broadcast for Europeans the following day at 19:00CET

Division 1 Week Three
April 27th 2011 - 9:00PM EST
1.Peru FnaticMSI.Fenix 2-0United States SixJax.ViBE
2.Sweden mouz.MorroW0-2Canada ROOT.KiWiKaKi
3.South Korea FOX_Moon 2-0United States SixJax.Artosis
4.Netherlands Grubby0-2United States FXO.Sheth
5.Germany TLAF-Liquid'TLO2-0South Korea ST_RainBOw

Micro and Kelly Milkies Predictions

1. While a score of 2-0, Fenix is standing on top of the division along with 3 others. ViBE, on the other hand, is sitting in last place. For people who are going to count ViBE out of this series, note that he beat Fenix 2-1 in the IPL last week and is looking to get his first NASL win. ViBE will repeat his IPL performance with a 2-1 win.
Kelly - 2-1 Fenix

2. MorroW is looking to keep his winning streak alive, and although he's taken down two big foes so far he has one of the most unique Protoss in the world - KiWiKaKi - to contest with. KiWi is looking to get his second win of the season and I think he'll do it. 2-1 for KiWiKaKi.
Kelly - 2-1 MorroW

3. I love seeing Artosis in the NASL, but like many others I just don't feel like his Protoss is ready yet. To make matters worse, he's going up against Moon, who has destroyed everyone he's played so far. Moon will take this series 2-0.
Kelly - 2-0 Moon

4. Sheth has shown that he really is one of the better Zergs in North America right now as he has yet to lose a match. Grubby, on the other hand, has given us two amazing series, with each going 1-2 in his opponents' favor. Sadly for Grubby fans, Sheth will take this series 2-0.
Kelly - 2-1 Sheth

5. I think this will be the best way to end the week, with TLO taking on the 0-2 RainBOw. TLO is known to ghost rush in TvT, so will RainBOw have some sort of counter for that? Personally, I don't think so. TLO is going to go 2-1 this week!
Kelly - 2-1 Rainbow

Division 2 Week Three
April 28th 2011 - 9:00PM EST
1.Ukraine White-Ravs.United States coL.CrunCher
2.United States FXOqxc vs.United States EGIncontroL
3.Germany aTn.DarKFoRcE vs.Canada FnaticMSI.TT1
4.France CN!MoMaNvs.South Korea oGsEnsnare
5.South Korea ST_July vs.Sweden dignitas.SjoW

Micro and Kelly Milkies Predictions

1. This week White-Ra gets to show us what his unorthodox PvP strategies will do against a North American opponent. With Cruncher coming off of a loss to IncontroL in the same match-up, I'm with Kelly on this one: White-Ra will take it 2-0.
Kelly - 2-0 White-Ra

2. qxc is currently one of three players in the NASL that have a 0-4 W/L record. IncontroL, on the other hand, is currently 4-2, and has looked stronger and stronger each week. Sadly for the latest FXO player qxc, he's going to extend IncontroL's win streak with a 2-0 loss.
Kelly - 2-1 qxc

3. Not too long ago TT1 had a lot of training with some of the best in South Korea, and has been practicing a lot for this match. DarKFoRcE is known as one of the better Zergs from Europe and won't be a walk-over win, but based on TT1's week one match vs Cruncher, he should take the series 2-1.
Kelly - 2-0 TT1

4. MoMaN is a great Zerg, and if you haven't seen the entry video he submitted for the NASL, go watch it. Ensnare, after his victory last week against July, is looking just too strong against Zerg. As good as the French player is, MoMaN will lose this one to Ensnare, 2-1.
Kelly - 2-0 Ensnare

5. Lately July seems to be one of those players that has two play styles - aggressive, and more aggressive. SjoW, on the other hand, has started to do the impossible and is scouting against Zerg players. If SjoW is able to do what Ensnare did last week, which I feel he'll be able to, he'll knock July to 1-2. SjoW 2-0!
Kelly - 2-0 July

Division 3 Week Three
April 29th 2011 - 9:00PM EST
1.Canada SixJax.dde vs.Sweden dignitas.NaNiwa
2.Ukraine mouz.Strelokvs.South Korea oGs.NaDa
3.Australia FXOmOOnGLaDe vs.United States EGAxslav
4.United States FnaticMSI.KawaiiRice vs.Canada ROOTSlush
5.South Korea ST_Squirtlevs.Sweden TLAF-Liquid`Haypro

Micro and Kelly Milkies Predictions

1. The starting match of day 3 has the capacity to make every series after it seem boring. NaNiWa, as of late, has literally been favored to win anything he enters, whereas dde has that unknown factor to a lot of people watching. Barely losing week one to NaDa and beating Axslav last week, dde is going to start a streak! 2-1 dde.
Kelly - 2-0 NaNiWa

2. So I said the series above would make all those after it look bad, but it only took me a few seconds to change my mind when I realized that the match between NaDa and Strelok will be right after it! NaDa is currently on top of his group, and Strelok hasn't had a single loss yet. Both players are amazing in TvT, so will their styles counter each other out? Strelok took down SeleCT 3-0 to get into the TSL. He's going to 2-0 NaDa.
Kelly - 2-1 NaDa

3. There are a few matches where I 100% disagree with Kelly's prediction, and this is one of them. mOOnGLaDe versus Axslav could be a very interesting series as both players are 1-4, meaning that one will finally get themselves a victory. In my eyes, it'll be Axslav 2-0. IdrA and Machine need a Protoss to play against, so he'll be ready.
Kelly - 2-0 mOOnGLaDe

4. I'd been scratching my head trying to figure out this match-up until I saw a few things. KawaiiRice has a 75% win-rate vs Zerg, while Slush has around 50% vs Terran. That stat, combined with KR taking down HayprO week one, makes me think it'll be 2-1 for KawaiiRice.
Kelly - 2-1 KawaiiRice

5. This is a series that could turn the NASL around for HayprO. If he gets the win against Squirtle he'll be on his way to contention in Division 3. If he doesn't, he's going to be far behind some of the major players. Squirtle hasn't been looking the best so far, but I'm with Kelly on this one: 2-0 for Squirtle.
Kelly - 2-0 Squirtle

Division 4 Week Three
April 30th 2011 - 9:00PM EST
1.Russia BRAT_OK vs.Peru ROOTCatZ
2.Germany ESC.GoOdy vs.Netherlands TLAF-Liquid`Ret
3.South Korea dignitas.SeleCT vs.Canada coL.Stalife
4.United States EGMachinevs.Germany mouz.HasuObs
5.South Korea ST_Acevs.South Korea oGs.MC

Micro and Kelly Milkies Predictions

1. I had BRAT_OK pegged near the top of this group until I took a closer look at some of the other players in it. One of them is CatZ, who half his games seems to just roll a die to decide what strategy he wants to use, and it more often than not works. Based on his results from the last two weeks, I have to give it to CatZ, 2-1.
Kelly - 2-0 BRAT_OK

2. It's hard to believe that GoOdy is 1-4 in his group while Ret is now 2-2 after dominating MC last week. If the Ret from last week decides to make a repeat performance, he may be the only person to take a top 2 spot from a Korean. Ret 2-1!
Kelly - 2-1 GoOdy

3. I learned my lesson last week: never bet against SeleCT. Ever. Stalife is coming off a loss to Ace, and the Canadian will suffer another one this week. SeleCT 2-0!
Kelly - 2-0 SeleCT

4. Every Zerg in EG has a Protoss to practice with, as that seems to be their major match-up this week. Machine will be ready for HasuObs' race, but I'm not so sure he'll be prepared for his style. HasuObs is still riding his UGC victory from a few weeks past, and he's going to get another victory. HasuObs 2-1.
Kelly - 2-1 HasuObs

5. It's hard to imagine that MC would be 0-2 in any group he has ever been put into. Though he's been on a bit of a "slump," if winning 4-0 in a finals against Kas can be considered a slump. Ace is currently undefeated, but when you're going up against a God of PvP and there's no White-Ra in sight, you're going to be hard-pressed to get a win. Kelly and I agree, it'll be MC 2-0.
Kelly - 2-0 MC

Division 5 Week Three
May 1st 2011 - 9:00PM EST
1.Taiwan FnaticMSI.SEnvs.United States LGPainUser
2.Poland mouz.MaNavs.United States EGIdrA
3.Italy MYM.Cloud vs.Canada ROOTdrewbie
4.South Korea oGs.Zeniovs.South Korea SlayerS_BoxeR
5.United States TLAF-Liquid`Tylervs.Germany aTn.Socke

Micro and Kelly Milkies Predictions

1. For the first time in a while, the Terran SEn will be facing isn't an emperor. Instead, it's the Euro killer PainUser, who suffered his second loss of the season last week. SEn is going to get his revenge on a Terran, 2-1.
Kelly - 2-0 SEn

2. A lot of Protoss players were hurt when the Amulet was taken away, including one of the major players MaNa. He was known to do a solid 2-base that relied on HTs, and if you saw him vs. Zenio last week, he's looking a little lost. IdrA is currently ranked #1 in the world on the GM ladder, and is 2-0 so far. Kelly and I both agree on a 2-0 sweep for IdrA.
Kelly - 2-0 IdrA

3. This should be an interesting match, as both players are very refined in their play and have a lot of practice partners available to play against. drewbie has the ROOT house, while Cloud is in Germany for EPS and is usually near Goody or DarkFoRcE. The two haven't met in a big tournament yet, but I feel like drewbie will win 2-1 based on the previous results of these two.
Kelly - 2-1 Cloud

4. Just when you think Boxer has reached his prime and can't get any better, he surprises everyone by going 2-0 so far in the NASL and making the RO8 in the TSL. Zenio is coming off of his first win, but he won't get his second. The Emperor Boxer will take another 2-1 victory!
Kelly - 2-1 Zenio

5. This is a great way to end a week. Tyler got his first win last week against drewbie, while Socke got revenge on PainUser. Both of these players have strong mechanics and ethic, but Tyler has recently changed around his key setup and I'm not sure if he's had enough time to prepare. Socke also holds the lead in their match history, so I think he'll take it 2-1.
Kelly - 2-0 Socke

Week 2 showed that I have to stop betting with my heart and go with my brain. Slasher beat me by 2 last week and I'm looking to get away from a 50% win ratio - I want 70-80!
