StarCraft Loses Functionality?

[s]starcraft[/s]It looks as though good old Microsoft has gone and released a new Service Pack for Windows XP that makes many programs unfuntional, or lose some functions. The new Service Pack has a built in firewall which will prevent many programs from going out and recieving data from the internet or send data. It works much like ZoneAlarm, a personal firewall, but has oddly enough made ZoneAlarm not work. Blizzard's StarCraft and WarCraft III are programs that have also been affected by this update. They were later removed off the Microsoft list, with no explanation.

The only thing people will need to do with this new patch for Windows XP is to fix the firewall settings. This will allow you to get around B.Net without XP popping up with a security alert box. There is a detailed guide on Microsoft's Site that will help guide you in fixing it.

The staff here will keep looking into this issue and see if the patch creates any more problems for any other programs. If you know of any issues that have been brought up by this patch, let us know!
