When does passion for a mere game become fanatic devotion? When is too much, simply too much? Instead of words I will let this week's POTW speak for us. The image will speak for itself.
Now that Wicked has been introduced to all those who did not know him, let me share with all what he has shared with me. He sent a few photos of the mentioned image that I took the liberty of asking a friend at entropyzero.org,
Nip7, to merge them all into a gif image.
Permit me to quote Wicked so that he may introduce this week’s POTW himself to the Starcraft community. As I know you are a very passionate Starcraft fan and you like to point out many times that Starcraft is far from dying, and given the fact that I am very much like you in this respect, I wanted to share an experience I had. Actually it's a pretty short story but it shows how even us hardcore Starcraft fans can not comprehend the magnitude of StarCraft.
I was walking home with my girlfriend (who actually plays starcraft at a decent level, qualified 10th in the Slovak WCG Preliminaries) from a store and we passed through a street I walk every day. I never had noticed anything unusual there, but a few days ago , this walk was different.
Parked on the sidewalk was a nice yellow car which apparently undergone massive tuning. That wouldn't be anything special, almost many nowadays tunes his/her car more or less. The thing that really attracted my attention was that the cover on the fuel tank had a picture on it. And not just any picture... Check it out
Speaking of passion and love, Wicked would like to dedicate this POTW to his girlfriend who, lucky him, shares his passion for this game too.
So let us honor his offer, honor their love for each other and while we are in the mood, let us honor our passion for this wonderful game.
