Bucharest champion Gaara will defend his title mid June
Today, we get to look at the dozen of players that will be seeded straight into the group stage of DreamHack Summer and which will be joined by the four winners of the 256-man qualifiers.
$25,000 are on the line June 14-16 as DreamHack welcomes Hearthstone to its Summer event. Announced last week, the tournament shaped up to be one with the largest Hearthstone prize pool to date, beating established tournaments like SeatStory Cup and DreamHack Bucharest in that department.
The format of the upcoming DreamHack will feature a massive 256-man double elimination preliminary round, whose goal will be to promote the four best players into the group stage round.
Those four will be welcomed by the twelve invited players, all of who are renowned streamers and ranked high in the GosuRankings. The list starts at Curse's powerhouse Alchemixt and goes through names like Priest maestro Amaz, Bucharest champion Gaara, ladder crusher Lifecoach, quintuple ZOTAC champion ThijsNL and Deck Wars S1 king TidesofTime.
