Lyc did not practice at all for ESWC

[s]event_200[/s]

The only Chinese player to end up in the final brackets was Colorful.Lyc. There he faced Grubby, and lost. In a recent interview he speak his mind.
- I didn't managed to sleep so well last night and Grubby is a very strong opponent after all, he says.

Lyc started in Group 3, a group where he, SaSe and Elqua advanced. It was a pretty bad start for the Chinese player, who lost to the Indian player Raziel. To wNv-Gaming he says that it was because he did not know his enemy.
- I didn't know the enemy so I couldn't predict his game style. This affected my map choice so I chose a map randomly before we played. And I have also underestimated him, he tells.

His road to the final was clear, and he was to go up against the second placed in Group B - Grubby. In this match, he lost, and in the interview he says that he did not manage to sleep well the night before.

This was Lyc's first time out of China, and as usual when hearing Asians talk about other nations it's the weather and the food that is on the downside. Though whether this had any effect on him or not we don't know, but Lyc says that he did not practice at all for this prestigious tournament. This sounds strange, since Lyc states that this is the best tournament for WarCraft 3 in the world. Why he did not practice remains untold, but a Top 8 spot should be considered a stellar performance.
