inCup: Predictions of bettable matches

[s]event_49[/s]

The Winter Season of the popular tournament inCup is soon to come to an end and only 16 players are still in to compete for $500 in cash! The grid is released and this Sunday will determine the best player of the season!

Today the grid for the finals was published and a lot of extremely interesting matches were revealed. Something a lot of people reacted to was the fact that only two Koreans and one American qualified - the other thirteen spots was occupied by Europeans. Nevertheless the two Koreans who actually compete, Lyn and Susiria has shown great shape the last couple of weeks and might be counted as favorites.
The tournament is divided in both Winner and Loser Brackets, where the former is played in Best of Three and the latter only Best of One.

I’ve put up three of the matches from Round 1 with some predictions, and you are all also able to bet on them yourself.

Rotterdam vs. Susiria

Get ready for an epic battle! Rotterdam has been progressing a lot during the last year and with the favour of playing Orc in this match up he might be counted as a favorite by many. Last competitive game he played against an Undead player was in NGL against Space from NoA, which resulted in a loss on the map of Echo Isles.
Susiria lost today against ReminD in WC3L but played really convincingly and showed that he has been practicing a lot lately. I would say he's got a few tricks up his sleeve and therefore predict him as a winner.

Prediction: Rotterdam [1:2] Susiria

Happy vs. Nilknarf

Happy is a player who has positively surprised me the last couple of months. He has shown a stable playing style together with some nice scalps in different leagues and tournaments.
Nilknarf is a player who has been around for a long time and always performs well; he has a kind of art floating around his game play and can never be underestimated.
A close game which can end in favour of anyone, however; I would spend my gold on Happy mostly because I think Undead have a little edge against Human.

Prediction: Happy [2:1] Nilknarf

Xyligan vs. Creolophus

Another even match between two Europeans! Xyligan is, in my opinion, kind of an up & down player who surprises big times on certain occasions and disappoints the next. If he is able to perform at his best this game will be a hard nut for Creolophus to crack. With Creolophus on the other hand you know what you've got and he always performs strong, he won one of the regular inCups and also some matches in WC3L, I think he will take Xyligan down pretty comfortably!

Prediction: Xyligan [0:2] Creolophus
