WCR & SK World Rankings

The well known WarCraft 3 site WCReplays.com and the team SK-Gaming together worked out a World (Europe and Asia) Ranking system for WarCraft 3 players. Overall 20 well known persons of the WC3 scene such as WC3L Headadmin Baschi or 4K's WC3 leader NuKe are the jury that works out the rankings every three months.

The system is quite easy: Every judge has to do a top five ranking for each category (World, Asia, Europe) based on latest results, gameplay and skill. The first ranked player recieves five points, the second gets four points and so on. Finally all twenty votes are put together and the final ranking is finished.

The judges

SK and WCR invited twenty well known persons of the WC3 scene to be a judge. The judges mostly are team leaders or league admins, players themselves have not been invited.

Race statistics

As you will see in these statistics, the Undeads and Nightelves are mostly used while especially Human isn't used so much by the top players. Again a sign for Humans being underpowered?
