The first BW4EVER Kerrigan Cup Tournament for Season 5 took place yesterday. A total number of 89 players participated, and among them were LG)SquaLL, who was the last man standing after 8 rounds. SquaLL is thereby qualified to the final tournament in the end of the season.
The new season started with a very high participant number, 89 of 127 confirmed before 17:00 which was when the tournament started. The added 50 € prize money might have spurred them to play, or if it was the beginning of the season. "yep the prize was the main reason." writes SquaLL regarding his own participation. He used to play BKC for a long time ago, but then stopped, for it being on Saturdays. "It's hard to play on saturdays cuz I use to be on hangover" he says.

SquaLL (picture) the hardest time. They faced eachother on 
Enter the Dragon, which is tough for Zerg against Terran, according to SquaLL. Thanks to good micro and playing safe, the Spaniard won the game and in the final FA_Tiger was waiting.THE TOURNAMENT TOOK ABOUT 4 AND A HALF HOURS, and FA_Tiger said that he got tired and couldn't stay focused in such long tournaments. SquaLL on the other hand didn't have any trouble keeping his focus. "I've also played lots of long tourneys and that is usefull to play tourneys like this." he says to BW4EVER in an after-game interview.
THE FINAL GAME WAS PLAYED BEST OF FIVE, BUT ONLY FOUR GAMES WERE NEEDED. SquaLL took a comfortable 2-0 lead after a failed 9 pool rush from Tiger. The second game was played on
Lost Temple, and SquaLL's mass Zerglings were simply too much for Tiger to cope with. "The final wasn't quite hard. I'm very confident in my ZvsZ" he says. The last two games ended in one win each, which meant that LG)SquaLL stood as the victor.
