Ali Eslami Wins WSOPC-Rincon

3c7a63fd40f4f8ef4641829d9a3dcc04a44ad94fce47671ec4a233c87e.jpgExperienced poker player Ali Eslami outlasted a tough final table and the red hot Tim West heads-up to win the World Series of Poker Circuit Rincon Regional Championship Wednesday. Eslami collected $282,242 and a seat in the $1 million freeroll WSOPC National Championship in Las Vegas this May.

The final table was a tough one with WSOPC beast Dwyte Pilgrim, Steve Brecher, and David Peters all making the final table.

Coming off a win at the Wynn Classic main event last week, West entered the final table with the lead, but eventually fell to the veteran Eslami heads-up in a back and forth affair that ended when West got it in pre flop with ace-queen against Eslami's aces.

The $10k WSOP circuit event drew just 98 players, but it was chock full of experienced players including Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Carlos Mortensen, David Williams, Victor Ramdin, Kathy Liebert and Eric Seidel who helped create a $950,600 prizepool.

Final table results:

1. Ali Eslami - $282,242

2. Tim West - $174,443

3. D.J. Blanchard - $124,204

4. Steve Brecher - $90,223

5. David Peters - $68,834

6. Dana Kellstrom - $50,445

7. Dwyte Pilgrim - $38,808

8. Dylan Wilkerson - $30,397

9. Miller Dao - $24,235

Four stops remain on the WSOPC schedule this year: St. Louis, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and New Orleans.
