ESWC 2010 groups announced

Electronic Sports World Cup organisation has finally broke the silence about the group drawing for the impending 2010 edition of its prestigious event.

Counting on a keenly elaborated seeding scheme, ESWC came out with four balanced groups heralding tight rivalry throughout the whole competition.

Group A features the e-Sports icon Jang 'Moon' JaeHo as one of the absolute favorites in the whole event. Seeded with the Korean giant, Spaniard Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Duran will attempt to tip the scales towards his side while Danish Thomas 'ThomasG' Glinski will play the party-pooper for the two stars.

In Group B, the Green Skins have claimed their presence vehemently with double WCG Champion Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen and Chinese tiger Weiliang 'Fly100%' Lu in the list.

The third group will be the most competitive one with high-caliber contestants like June 'Lyn' Park, Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin and Marcus Sebastian 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf prone to a bellicose dialog to take a step to the next round.

Last but not least, Korean Mojawi's superstars Kim 'ReMinD' SungSik and Eom 'FoCuS' HyoSub will collide in a heated combat to get the upper hand in Group D.
Dark horses such as Nikita 'nicker' Pomadov and Heinrich 'S.o.K.o.L' Rennert will be there for possible upsets.

The schedule for the first groupstage phase is yet to be released. The second groupstage phase will involve 12 competitors as the first three of each group will proceed.
