After losing only a few games during the whole tournament, ALF finished off the Lithuanian Protoss Arew and thereby won the fifth GosuCup. Here you have a short winner interview.
How many GosuCups have you played?
- 3, 4th this one.
How come you did so well this time?
- I don't know, I played ICCup before the other ones, but now I haven't played for about a week. Just came and did my best.
Which of your opponents was the toughest one?
- Must be Arew. He's always a tough opponent, so I thought the final games would be really close. He must have been out of shape today. Anyway, all games were longer than 20 minutes.
We can see that we have about the same bigger names each GosuCup, why do you think that is? How do you think we can get more big names to show?
- Gosus like JF, Strelok and Mondi won't play without a good money prize. But more players come from lower level and play, it seems to me that each tourney there are more players. Anyway, any prize will make more players come, now the only motivation is "for fun" and "practice", that's why there are no "big" names.
