Earlier today TeamLiquid announced that Razer, the gaming peripheral company, will sponsor the TeamLiquid Starleague.
The organisers of the TSL, which offers the international community a competitive tournament with high prize money, announced that they have secured a sponsor to finance the 10,000 dollar prize pool, and more.
With the TSL’s Round of 16 soon underway, Manifesto7 stated in a news post at TeamLiquid that: “the only thing missing was a company who was willing to sponsor a vision”
After “extensive negotiations” Razer is now the sponsor of the tournament. The company have committed to provide the money for both the entire prize money and help fund streaming expenses. The tournament will now be known as the Razer TSL.
TeamLiquid also announced they will soon release a new dedicated page for the Razer TSL.
Razer have a long history sponsoring e-sports events. They sponsor many teams and players in different games. They have also sponsored events here at GosuGamers in the past.
