This has indeed been a very hectic weekend for all of us, and a lot has happened in the shadows of the Word Wide Invitational. Here is a quick wrap-up of the weekend for you.
The White-Ra himself. Many things have happened besides the big announcement of the StarCraft II production and all the news and revelations regarding that. Last Thursday MeetYourMakers added another player to their roster. Directly from Team Excello came
White-Ra. MYM made a big interview with the guy, and you can read it at
MeetYourMakers.com. According to White-Ra in the interview he never had anything more than a promise to the team leader of xLo,
Bartar that made him stay in the team but apparently things will be different for the Ukrainian in MYM, with a contract binding him to the team.

Another interesting news was the results from FragBet League 2. Play-offs started a couple of weeks ago, and after defeating xLo, MgZ had to face the Spaniards in LRM before moving on. This did not seem to be a very hard match, because after losing only one match they are off to the semi final versus Templars of Twilight. Replay package can be found at

Another overlooked event was the tournament over at the World Wide Invitational. In the StarCraft tournament the top four Korean players and the top non-Korean players were invited, but the foreigners did not stand a chance. The only one winning anything was
MYM.SEn who won a single game versus
SaviOr; it was not enough, and in the next round - the semi-finals - all the non-Korean flags were gone from the lists. During the semi-finals you could clearly see who was supposed to move on. Both rounds ended with a score of two games to zero; the players competing in the final were
Bisu and
SaviOr and after three high class games Bisu stood as the final winner. There does not appear to be any replays released yet, but on a very random search at
YouTube a couple of VODs were found.
