SK part ways with Araneae

Jungler Alvar "Araneae" Martin Alenar is officially no longer part of SK Gaming as of November 18th. News were confirmed by SK's captain Ocelote during this week's Summoners Recap.

Araneae first joined SK Gaming in December 2010 when the organization recruited the roster of Team Dimegio, part of which were also nRated, Wickd, ALth0r, and Ocelote himself. In March 2011, however, after a disappointing IEM Hannover for SK and citing disagreement between team members, Alenar left the team.

Between then and the summer of this year, Araneae played for a number of European teams including Team Dignitas EU, MYM and Na'Vi before finally rejoining SK Gaming in July 2012.

Back together with his old teammates, Araneae would place third EU Challenger Circuit Poland and second at S2WC European regionals before seeing disappointing placements at S2WC Grand Finals (top 12) and the recent Tales of the Lane (top four).

No official statement about Alenar's departure has been given but known is the name of the person that is likely to replace him: John "HyrqBot" Velly, formerly the jungler for French-based Millenium and Sypher, with whom SK Gaming has been training the last few days.
