Tired of your Starcraft looking like in the picture? Blizzard just answered to a usercomment on the bad color issue when using Windows 7, and added a suggestion on how to solve it.

This fixes it for most people.

1.

The first thing you need to do is to right click on the Starcraft icon either on your desktop or in your Brood War directory, and then choose properties.

2.

Go to the compatibility section and select the following settings:
- Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
- Run in 256 colors
- Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution
- disable desktop composition

3.

The third and last step is to make sure your video drivers are up to date.

- "These settings should do the trick for most people" as Martyt over at Blizzard says, but there are no guarantees.
