An 18-year-old Swedish boy has been sentenced for attempted murder against a 15-year-old girl after being disconnected while playing StarCraft.

The 18-year-old was said to have grabbed a kitchen knife and gone out in his neighborhood. His mindset was full of rage. He was mentally ill, and his thoughts got even gloomer when he couldn't finish playing the game.

The attempted murder of the girl was not pre-meditated or intended, she just happened to be outside on her way home from a party.

Despite being stabbed several times by the raging boy the girl managed to get away without any life-threatening injuries.

The 18-year-old boy has now been sentenced for second degree attempted murder and will be placed in a mental health residential program.
