This week was kind of slow, but there are still some nuggets of gold here and there that deserves more attention than they got in the other BW media.
If you haven't noticed, Blizzcon is marching up on us now. Everyone is of course extremely excited since everyone is expecting THE Beta with capital B to be released then. In the meantime there are some teasers for what other kind of stuff we can expect from Blizzcon. Like this SC2 Pokerset. The cards are specificly designed to look like they've been roughed up on the Terran front against the Zergs.
I'm sure there are lots of people out there who have really no clue on how much a foreign top player earns in his time, and how the team sponsorship works. This thread clears out some question marks, even if they foreign teams are generally very close mouthed about the player contracts.
The biggest happening of the week was no doubt the SKT1 vs OZ proleague finals. For once I actually watched Korean StarCraft live, and it was well worth it. Especially the first game between JaeDong and Fantasy on Outsider. It's a must see. Quote from the stream chat during the game:
The ASL Mini for a total of $85 was recently concluded. VODs of the finals between Gosi[Terran] and XiaOzi are uploaded on the fifth page in that thread.
And as some events are concluded, others take their place. AoN has started up their King of the Hill again. It started last Thursday, is always streamed and a great watch.
Last, it didn't recieve much attention but Ret vs if.Classic was played this week. VODs are up at scforall's site, and as any top foreign vs Korean pro match it's well worth a watch!
