Gosia manages to take the needed point in order to advance to the playoff in GameStar Liga.

Eight months ago the GameStar Liga took off, with high hopes of a high quality league with Europe's top dogs battling it out once a week. Add to that a hefty prize sum and a promise of an offline playoff and the hype was maxed.
But after a decision based on the common visa issues for foreign players and the lazyness, the playoff has been changed from offline to online.
Today, after many delays, the second to last game was played in the regular season. Gosia (picture) versus SquaLL in an utmost important match for the Pole. In order to excel over Dreiven and advance to the Top 4, he needed to grab at least one game off his team mate. And thanks to a well-performed 9-pool on Tau Cross and eventually a speedling wave, Gosia received his precious point.The whole match was won by SquaLL, who came out on top with a 2-1 score. SquaLL won the first game, on Rush Hour, where both players went similar build orders. The match all came up to the zergling micro battle which the Spaniard won and could then kill off the remains with a few muta/ling attacks.
Last game, which did not matter much for the rankings, other than the €25 per win given out by the GSL administration, was a pretty tight game.
- I started taking the lead, after some zergling harassment at his expansion which ended with me killing it, says SquaLL to GosuGamers about the game.
- Still, we were pretty close in the economy, since I was being pretty aggressive and I only had my main hatchery. At the end I could take the win since I had more vespene gas, and I won the air mutalisk battle, says SquaLL.
Did you give him the second game for him to advance on the expense over Dreiven, considering if you would've won 2-0 Gosia would have ended fifth?
- Rafa just won me legit, I made 12 hatchery because I know he never 9-pools, sadly he did that time. If we wanted to take some result, I'd just let him win, says SquaLL.
Gosia tells GosuGamers that he did not practice at all as he knew he only needed to take one game in order to be guaranteed a spot.

Now, Gosia is up against either White-Ra, Mondragon or Strelok depending on the seeding for the playoff.- I'd love to play with some lower skilled opponent but it's impossible at this stage, so I'll stick to ZvT which has been my best for quite some time already thus I'd love to play Strelok the most. It's very unlikely for me to win any match though, admits Gosia.
- They are all monsters known for their skill, and I'm just another decent Zerg from Poland that made his way to the finals with a big dose of luck, he says modestly.
