Down to 19 players left at L.A. NAPT Tournament

Day 3 at the North American Poker Tour's Los Angeles main event has ended with 19 players remaining.

It seems all PokerStars NAPT tournaments pull big crowds and the Los Angeles NAPT main event was no different getting 701 players to the Bicycle Casino. The prize pool generated was $3.2 million with $725,000 going to first place. The top 104 players reached the money.

They had two day 1's and broke the money bubble on Sunday when online pro Carter King was the bubble boy 10 minutes into the final level of the day Sunday.

Notables who cashed but didn't make it to Monday's Day 3 include Shannon Shorr, James Van Alstyne, Eric Baldwin, Adam Junglen, Kristy Gazes, and Dan Schreiber.

The chip leader heading into Day 4 is Christopher DeMaci who finished the day with 3,783,000. Second place in chips was Micah Raskin, who was quite a bit behind at 2,310,000.

Notables still in contention to make the TV final table include Mercier who finished with 2,150,000, Michael Binger, George Lind III, and Canadian Team Pro Anh Van. Tuesday should be a short day as they play down to the final table of 8 which plays down on the 17th.
