BlizzCon 2010 gives us a top treat in the very beginning of the tournament. The all-time rivals and the Atlases of the WarCraft world Grubby and Moon are paired together in the first round.

Netherlands Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen vs. Korea Jae Ho "Moon" Jang

BlizzCon gives us a delicacy in the very first round. Arguably the two most influental players in mondern WarCraft 3 history, Grubby and Moon, is locked together in the first round of the BlizzCon 2010 WarCraft III brackets. Looking over the past ten match series, Moon has won eight of them. Statistically, both players are struggling the most with the Orc versus Night Elf matchup (vice versa), and even though the last ten series favour Moon, the two always tend to feature globe-stopping play when the two face each other. - GosuBet

China Xuwen "Infi" Wang vs. United States Abdulaziz Jamal "CrunCher" Abed

While the Human mirror match-up is something InFi has been known to have trouble grasping at his fullest, the Chinese player from World Elite is on a much higher skill level than the US Human player CrunCher. Almost everything points towards Infi coming out of this battle intact, but CrunCher has created stir-ups in tournaments before, but that was online in a ZOTAC tournament nearly three months ago. - GosuBet

Korea Sung Sik "ReMinD" Kim vs. Mexico Diego "Raspot" Echeagaray

Comparing the two players' latest World Cyber Games results shows a champion and a group stage punching bag. Mexican Raspot suffered some tough losses in a group with Happy and TeD, while ReMinD edged through after a nerving group tiebreaker to win the championship trophy in the end. Raspot is without a doubt the best WarCraft 3 player in Mexico, but he will have little chance against a Night Elf player like ReMinD. - GosuBet

Russia Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin vs. China Weilang "Fly100%" Lu

GosuGamers reported earlier today about Happy's canceled flight after five-hours long delay due to technical difficulties. Sadly, the Russian had to turn back home and see his last major WarCraft 3 tournament reach an anticlimatic end. It remains to be seen if Fly100% will get a forfeit win, or if the tournament officials decide to bring in a substitute. The player roster for the StarCraft 2 hints of Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker as a possible stand-in. - GosuBet
