The $40,000 GosuGamers/SteelSeries HoN World Cup season has ended after over 3 months of bets. Not surprisingly, we´re seeing big gosubet currency numbers, because of the seasons length. To make it worthwhile, World Cup sponsor: SteelSeries tossed in $600 for the HON winner (further down).
Due to the incredible length of the season, the payout will be increased:
1st - 500pts
2nd - 200pts
3rd - 100pts
The DotA season especially have seen lots of names come and go in the top10. Finally Zowcii managed to grab the almost silly amount of 341815 tangos at the turn of the season and is rewarded with 500 points. The gap in the top 3, with peteryue and lubacos as runner-up and second runner-up, were quite wide as the table to the right is showing.
Ukrainian better, luke, peaks the StarCraft-top with 30797 minerals and the scale resembles the one for DotA. The battle at the sequel, StarCraft 2, was abit tighter though. PainBall reached 101200 high minerals, but it wasn't enough as his countryman Spook had 4% more and PainBall will have to settle with second place.
WarCraft 3 was won by Elven_Star at 10154 gold and he is at a relative safe distance, although one bet could have changed alot, as always.
And the reason behind the delay of this special SteelSeries GosuBet season was ofcourse the sponsored HoN whom this season was dedicated to, with fan.god topping it off at 6778 totems. The magic here is that fan.god is awarded with $600 USD and will be contacted shortly.
The next season is running as we speak (or more likely; as you read) and will last abit longer than the average season to even out the flow of the months. It will last until the end of February. Happy betting!
