BoingBoing.net reported that the RIAA e-mail was faked and copy pasted from an old e-mail. BoingBoing shows a log of a conversation in which RIAA says "We did not take down RPGFilms.net".
GosuGamers yesterday reported how RIAA struck against RPGFilms.net. BoingBoing.net reports that a so called Jenni from RIAA: "The RIAA has not initiated any communication or legal action against RPG Films. It appears as though someone may have found and copied an old RIAA notice and filled it in with RPG Film web site information".
The RIAA are supposing someone copied the e-mail previously sent by the RIAA and sent it to the owners of RPGFilms.net, who supposedly took the e-mail for real and shut down their website. RPGFilms.net are, as of 23.00 CET, totally blank.
