In light of the upcoming StarLadder Season X LAN finals, David 'LD' Gorman has announced the English casting and talent line-up. In addition to him, Merlini and Sheever, syndereN and Zyori will fly out to Kiev to cover the event live from Cyberarena.
Only eight days remain until StarLadder kicks off its tenth LAN finals at the Cyberarena in Kiev, and this time around, more English talent than ever will be present. David 'LD' Gorman, Ben 'Merlini' Wu and Jorien 'Sheever' van der Heijden have been part of the English on-site coverage team last season already and will now be accompanied by BTS caster Andrew 'Zyori' Campbell and former pro-player turned caster Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen.
It will be the first official Dota 2 LAN event coverage for Campbell, whereas the rest of the crew has experience in both working on LAN, as well as casting together. The five of them will fly out to Kiev in the coming week to cast live from the venue.
The LAN event will kick off on October 23rd and will last until October 26th. Eight teams from around the world have qualified to participate in the event and will be playing out a two-group round-robin. Every team will advance, but the group standings will determine whether a team continues in the lower bracket or in the upper bracket of the playoffs.
