Hey, Jeff how about instead of 3-2-1 you make playing tank fun?

I am a main tank player (mostly Reinhardt). Like Jeff said, I enjoy leading my team and being in the front line. However, I do not want to be there by myself. The thought of double sniper + reaper is really concerning. The only playable tank at that point is ball. Currently, people are more than happy to wait in a queue for 10 minutes since that is what they want to play. If it wasn't worth it to them, they would queue for a different role. Clearly tank is the least fun with that deduction. 10 minute queue versus a 1-2 minute queue, and people still don't make the switch to queue for tank. Make tank fun! I used to enjoy tank much more, but the double shield meta gets excessively boring. I get bullied every game by Mei and reaper. Tank is no longer taking space and pushing your front line. It's now get booped, frozen, and melted. All while there's 4 barriers on the objective.
