Although there weren’t any big announcements in their Reddit AMA, the Overwatch development team covered a ton of intriguing points.
For one thing, game director Jeff Kaplan noted that tackling the current double shield meta (which we’re seeing a lot of in Overwatch League right now with Orisa-Sigma duos) is Team 4’s “most immediate priority” in terms of game design. He wrote that a balance patch is on the way to address the issue, and it’ll show up in the Experimental mode within the next few weeks.
Facing off against two shields can certainly sap some of the fun out of Overwatch, so it’s good to see Team 4 is focusing on the problem. In a separate comment,
