The Latest PTR Patch Changes as of March 9
A couple of things have changed in PTR over the past few days; here's what you missed.
The Public Test Region (PTR) was updated and then re-updated over the past 48 hours. Although only six heroes are affected, changes included huge nerfs to Ana and Zenyatta. We've got all you need to know below.
Ana
- Her Biotic Rifle's damage has decreased from 80 to 60
- Her Biotic Gernade's healing and damage impact was reduced to half of its live value two days ago, though that's now been reversed with the most recent patch.
Junkrat
- He must have learned a thing or two from D.Va, because he can no longer be hurt by his own (non-deflected, of course) explosions.
- This ability has been tacked onto his "Total Mayhem" passive.
Orisa
- After only being out for a few days, not even making it to the official game servers, Orisa's going through her first nerf. Her Fusion Driver / primary magazine size has been lowered from 200 to 150
- Her ultimate, Supercharger, will now cost you 15% more time to charge up.
Sombra
- Sombra's more silent when entering stealth, with her sound effects and voice-over only being able to be heard by enemies 15 meters away.
- Her translocator's cooldown is two seconds quicker, from six seconds to four.
- A more recent patch to PTR now allows her hacked healthpacks to be seen through walls by her allies.
Winston
- The big guy got a subtle but pretty big buff to his Barrier Projector; the cooldown now starts when the barrier is placed, not when it ends. We might have Orisa to thank for that advancement in technology.
Zenyatta
- His weapon spread (yes, he had one) has been removed.
- The newest patch disables his ability to Orb of Discord-target people through barriers.
