Better rack up those points while you can; Season 3 will end in just under a week from now.
Blizzard announced on their forums yesterday that Season 3 of Competitive Overwatch will end on Tuesday, February 21, at 4:00 p.m. PST. Players will have a week to rest until Season 4 picks up the next week, on February 28.
Rewards will be awarded the first time you log in after the season has ended. Those who have completed their placement matches will automatically get the Season 3 icon and spray, while those who had the honor of being top 500 on their platform in their region at any time during Season 3 will get a bonus player icon and the animated version of that spray.
You'll also get Competitive Points (CP) for your troubles; how many CPs you get depends on what your max rank was during the season:
- SR 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 CP
- SR 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 CP
- SR 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 CP
- SR 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 CP
- SR 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 CP
- SR 3500-3999 (Master): 2000 CP
- SR 4000-5000 (Grandmaster): 3000 CP
