Teams announced for the MLG Vegas Overwatch Invitational
Major League Gaming lays all cards on table with their Las Vegas Overwatch participant announcement.
MLG has officially announced the eight teams that will be competing for the grand prize of $100,000. The 3-day international tournament and fan festival will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, on December 16-18. MLG's official announcement and teams will be listed down below:
With such an exciting roster of teams, fans will expect many exciting matches between them. Many of the teams listed have been quite busy. For example, Cloud 9 has recently gone through a few roster changes giving their tank and support roles to Ruben “ryb” Ljungdahl and Randal “Roolf” Stark. Also, teams such as NRG & EnVyUs have been occupied by participating in major competitions in Asia such as the APAC Premier event in China. It will be interesting to see if they have used that time to improve faster than their rivals.
