NRG announces roster changes, including a popular free agent

Overwatch Gosu “GosuGamers” Gamers

Big changes have started to hit the NA scene. NRG is first with a two person change.

This morning, NRG announced two changes to their Overwatch roster. DPS player, Daniel ‘Gods’ Graeser, and support player, Mark ‘Pookz’ Rendom, will be stepping down from competitive play with the current NRG lineup. This comes off of the heels of a joint third placing at the APAC Premier and making it the semifinals on the North American side of the Overwatch Open bracket.

Their places will be taken by two big names in the scene: Seb ‘Numlocked’ Barton and Matthew ‘Clockwork’ Dias. Both players have had a history in the competitive scene, with Numlocked having played main tank for Dignitas and Clockwork formerly occupying the DPS role for Splyce. These additions look to remedy inefficient shotcalling and bring in more firepower to match up with Brandon ‘Seagull’ Larned and Carl ‘enigma’ Yangsheng

Both players will be joining NRG in Korea to prepare for the rest of the APEX OGN League. We wish the best of luck to Gods and Pookz on the next step of their competitive journey!
