As Halloween creeps closer, Overwatch heads into Over… Spook. A new patch is now live, with plenty of Halloween-themed loot!
October means festive spookiness in the form of Halloween. Today, Overwatch got an update that will surely bring you into the right spirit.
The patch contains limited edition loot, just like the previous Summer Games event did. The difference this time: You can buy the items with your in game currency!
The event features 12 new skins, an assortment of new sprays and voice lines, as well as a “R.I.P.” victory pose for all heroes. There’s also a bunch of new player icons and some emotes fitting the theme.
Every loot box (or well, it’s a pumpkin now…) will give you at least one item from the Halloween collection.
Other than this, Hollywood also got a temporary update, and is now a bit more creepy then usual.
The patch also featured a reworked character stat screen, as seen below.
The event will take place between October 11th and November 1st, so don’t forget to check out all of the Halloween themed things Overwatch has to offer!
