BaseTradeTV is back, hosting another Overwatch Cup starting October 9th
Starcraft dedicated BaseTradeTV is back with their second Overwatch cup, with qualifiers on October 9th/10th. Sign ups are open!
BaseTradeTV is known in the Starcraft community for being hard working and enthusiastic. They first organized their Control-only event 'OnlyWatch' in April, and had plans for a second all-maps event in July. Due to one of the casters/organizers being involved in an accident, they had to postpone this second venture but both BaseTradeTV and the caster are ready to get back in action!
BaseTradeTV Cup #2 is an event on the NA servers, and will have 2 qualifiers that will be held on the 8th and 9th of October. From each of these, 4 teams will advance to the round of 8 that will be played starting October 17th. As was originally planned, the teams will be playing for a $1200 prizepool.
BTTV will feature a ruleset very similar to that of Overwatch's own competitive play. The only major difference being tiebreaker maps are preferred over draws on Hybrid maps.
