There are a lot of things to keep track of in the burgeoning Overwatch scene and it's become increasingly difficult to keep track of it all. Never fear as the GosuGamers Competitive Recap is here! We've compiled all the Overwatch news that's fit to print.

Released every week, the Competitive Recap compiles all the tournament and important news that's happened since the last recap. Whether you're interested in big news, or want to stay updated on changes in teams, you can always tune in every Thursday to see if there's anything you've missed.

Competitive Play is back! Blizzard brought the PTR changes to live

We finally got another update to the live game. And this update will prove to be meta defining for all sides of play. Competitive Play started Season 2 finally, a number of heroes got significant changes, we got a new map (Eichenwalde) and more changes to complete the excitement.

Our North American and European Weeklies returned last week and to our delight, they proved just as exciting as they've always been. Now we're getting right back in the swing of things and opening registration for this week's tournaments. $2000 on the line. Sign up while you can to compete.

ProfessorGanymede reveals important Lucio nerf

Support expert ProfessorGanymede is bringing attention to an unnoticed but important nerf to Lucio. He explains it all in his recent video. Any Lucio player needs to check out this huge nerf. We can't believe that Blizzard hasn't mentioned this nor any other pro players.

A brief look at the Overwatch World Cup EU Qualifier

The European qualifier features 6 groups of 5 teams, who will compete for 6 qualification spots at the LAN tournament. Each group will play in a best-of-three round robin format with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.

We renamed our Twitch Channel to GosuTV_OW

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up notice about our Twitch channel being renamed, in time for the Overwatch Weeklies the past weekend and those to come.

MSI MGA hosts a Triple Region LAN Tournament with a $75K prize pool

MSI has announced their next MGA event, and it features Overwatch as the main event. The Masters Gaming Arena 2016 will invite teams from Europe, North America AND Asia to compete and eventually qualify for the LAN finals in London. Registration is now open today.

Lenovo Cup Stage 2 - VODs - Recap

Lenovo's Overwatch Cup is moving along nicely. The playoffs will happen later this month, and the teams are currently preparing for that phase in the Group Stage. 5 teams were invited and 3 others qualified. The tournament has a nice little $8000 cash prize. Best of luck to all competitors.

LDLC acquire an Overwatch team

LDLC, an eSports organization out of France, are getting into the Overwatch scene. The team, captained by Guillaume "kabaL" Ettori, features some first rate talent. The team will begin to officially compete soon. Nice to see another team join the community.

Tempo Storm swaps out half their Australian Roster

Tempo Storm has decided to switch out three of their players, confirming a move that was leaked over a week ago. They is currently (one of) the only bigger organization supporting two seperate rosters: one from Australia and one from North America. TS announced their NA roster earlier this week, and have had their AU players for a few weeks now.
